1970 Supermarkets - Album Supermarkets Colección Mundial Mexico 70

Background

This album was released in 1970 in "Supermarkets" for the purpose of collecting in anticipation of the 1970 World Cup. This album was directed towards the Peruvian youth of this era. The album was obtained by people who spent 100 or more soles in one shopping trip in any of the 14 supermarkets. Each page of the album was sponsored by a certain brand so by buying the products, you were given the stickers for "free."

The album consists of a section dedicated to the previous World Cup winners, the stadiums of the World Cup in Mexico, the 40 notable players of the upcoming World Cup, and a table where the collector can predict the results of the upcoming World Cup.
