Background
This album of figurines was released in 1962 with the purpose of providing young collectors the opportunity to collect the players that participated in the 1962 season the Uruguayan Primera Division. The album also contains cards from the major Argentinian teams as well, and the cards are shaped in the now iconic disc shape that has become well known for South America in this era.
