1939 Kicker-Verlag "Die Deutschen Nationalspieler" - Fritz Walter

The first ever sticker for the legendary Fritz Walter can be found in this 1937-39 Kicker Verlag set.

This set was made to document the German players that had played for the national team. The set spanned over several years with the Fritz Walter being the last addition "392" to the set in 1939. This makes the Walter rookie very rare and difficult to find. In addition, it is unlikely that many copies survived WWII.

Having one of these in the collection is incredible. This is the Babe Ruth of the German soccer card hobby.
